Where is your cookery section Clare???!!!

Virginia1975- 04-27-2006

My cooking skills are minimal. I've only managed to give myself food poisoning once which, all things considered, is doing pretty well. Hypothetically, if I wanted to create a three-course meal to impress potential girlfriends what should I cook? If chocolate was involved, somewhere along the lines, that would be good.

If Clarey were to have a cookery section, she'd need to get copyright from Delia

Three course meal
Start off with warm goats cheese on a rocket and pine nut salad with red onion marmalade, a balsamic caramel dressing and french bread. Then, Pan fried chicken breast, stuffed with sage and wrapped in pancetta, on a trio of roasted peppers, with baby roast potatoes and a white wine sauce. followed by, a warm rich chocolate torte, with vanilla seed ice cream, fresh berries and chocolate sauce........... ....................save a few berries and chocolate sauce for later........... LOL.............i used to be a chef!

Re: Three course meal
I am very, very happy with three course meal you picked, everything you chose sounds absolutely delicious. So have you cooked this meal for anyone before and if you did, I hope you saved some of the chocolate sauce for later!

No, not this specific menu but i do like to cook for people. This was made for you..............! I do like to make desert last on into the night!

See when you mention about the dessert lasting on into the night, I'm thinking either you have an eating disorder which, Burnster, you DO need to seek professional help over or you are mixing the perishable foodstuffs with jiggy jiggy, ala Nine And A Half Weeks. If I was going to mix the food with wild swinging off the chandelier sex I'd make sure to do it over at somebody else's house so then they're landed with the dry cleaning bill for the bed covers. Now we're getting to the difficult questions. Which is better good sex or good food?

sex or food?
I assure you that I do not have an eating disorder! and I envisaged a slightly more romantically seductive, playful way with the chocolate sauce rather than swinging helplessly from a light shade squirting the stuff randomly from great heights as my partner in this crime lay on the bed with nothing but a raspberry delicately placed on each nipple!!! LOL I am very passionate about food and believe that when I cook for someone special that passion is shared and sets a very romantic scene! Mmmmm….So good sex or good food??? Sex can be great with the right person and can involve food if you wish and I really do love food and obviously couldn’t live without it but I can’t say I’ve ever felt the pleasure I get from someone special from a chicken breast!!! If you know what I mean!
